How we work...
Welwyn Horses is run by Ann Berry (former proprietor of Limes Farm Equestrian Centre), an experienced equine agent. Ann travels regularly accross Europe to personally select horses and cobs for temperament and conformation. She has long-established relationships with proven sources in Europe and acquires many of her horses direct from farmers and private owners, rather than through the auction sales.
Our trial facilities are excellent and vets are always welcome.

Trying Horses...
We encourage all buyers to try any horse they are interested in without any obligation. We have excellent facilities, with jumps; hacking in bridal paths and woods; and a stretch of road with good visibility where a horse's behaviour in traffic can be assessed.
If you wish to reserve a horse (which means we won't sell it to anyone else), a deposit of £200 CASH is required. The reserve deposit is refundable if the horse fails a vet inspection.
Returns...
Once a horse passes its vet's examination, we regard the horse as sold, and we have no legal obligation to take it back. However, we do not want a customer to have a horse that doesn't suit them, so we will always try to exchange an unsuitable horse for one of equivalent value within one month of the date of sale.
